Roles
What depositors, purchasers and the protocol authority can and cannot do.
Three roles interact with the pool, and it is worth being precise about what each one can and cannot do.
Depositor
- Adds eligible assets, creating positions that earn fees and points.
- May withdraw a position only while it is still unallocated.
- Cannot choose who receives an asset, or prevent it being allocated.
Purchaser
- Pays the acquisition price for one randomly selected position.
- Receives whatever is allocated — the asset is theirs to keep or sell.
- Cannot target a collection, tier or specific asset, and cannot reverse a settlement.
Protocol authority
- Can pause deposits and acquisitions, change the price and fee split, and edit the allowlist and blocklist.
- Cannot see an outcome before the purchaser, reorder inventory mid-settlement, reverse a settled acquisition, or withdraw deposited assets.
Trust assumption
The authority is a live privilege, not a formality. Assume price and eligibility can change without notice and size your participation accordingly.
